Pyramids
The Pyramids of Giza are among the most famous tourist attractions in Egypt and are, of course, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Giza Pyramid Complex includes the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure, the smaller pyramids dedicated to the queens, and the Solar Boat Museum, which houses the first Solar Boat believed by the ancient Egyptians to transport them to the afterlife.
The site also features the Great Sphinx, symbolizing strength and wisdom, with the body of a lion and the head of a king. Scholars debate whether it was built by Khufu or Khafre.
The Great Pyramid of Giza, built for Pharaoh Khufu, is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one still standing today.
Recently, the Forever Is Now exhibition was held at the Giza Plateau from October 24 to November 16. This exhibition showcased artworks by artists, including installations, paintings, and designs, reflecting the relationship between modern art and ancient Egyptian civilization, blending the two in unique ways.
