Quba' Masjid

When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the Muslims migrated from Mecca to Medina, they built the first mosque in Islam in the area of Quba'. It is the second-largest mosque in Madina after the Prophet's Mosque.

Quba' holds great significance, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Prayer in the Mosque of Quba is like performing an Umrah."

In Sahih Bukhari, Abdullah ibn Umar reported that the Prophet would visit the Quba' Mosque every Saturday, both walking and riding, and Abdullah ibn Umar would do the same.

The mosque is located south of Medina, and throughout history, it has been renovated and expanded by various caliphs and rulers. Today, it can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.
